AerFire's Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland is an original aerial circus show, written and directed by Paula Van Kuren. Winter Wonderland is produced with gratitude and admiration for the youth and adult aerialists of AerFire. Many of the pieces in the show are choreographed by the children who are performing, many more are co-choreographed with the help of Paula Van Kuren. AerFire is dedicated to teaching the artist how to build skill, create art with those skills, and produce and perform their art for you!

That's what makes AerFire shows so special! You aren't watching children in a recital or a pre-written, mass-produced program. You are witnessing the joy of aerial expressed by the performer! You are watching the future of circus!

All of our acts are low-risk for the performer. We utilize appropriate safety measures. Aerial is an inherently dangerous sport and requires athletic training, just like gymnastics or football. Do NOT try aerial at home!!! What you see on stage will drop jaws, but rest assured, these skills are safely conditioned for our aerial athletes. There's a lot of optical illusion, if you can find it...and if you can't, just believe in magic.

AerFire kids are magical!

Winter Wonderland is a great show for a family with young children. Tons of excitement happening on stage, with a short duration of about 90 minutes. We welcome excited children in the audience! It's ok to laugh, sneeze, cheer, and clap.
